What Summit Wings Does
Summit Wings Aviation is a small, selective Colorado aviation services firm offering contract pilot services, aircraft management, and pilot training. We work with a limited number of owners and operators so that every flight and every client gets full attention.
Contract Pilot Services
Contract pilot services, including Pilatus PC-12 NG pilot services, plus aircraft ferrying and right-seat, safety pilot, or mentor pilot support. Built on current Part 135 flying and disciplined crew procedures.
Aircraft Management
Select aircraft management and owner support for personally owned and small flight department aircraft at Front Range airports. Scope is tailored to the aircraft and the owner. Inquiry only.
Pilot Training
Specialized training for certificated pilots: aircraft transition, proficiency training, instrument proficiency checks (IPCs), multi-engine instruction, and mountain flying.
How We Operate
- Safety first, without exception. Every flight is planned with structured risk assessment, and a no-go decision is always on the table.
- Professional crew standards. CRM and standard operating procedures carry over from Part 135 charter flying to every job, including Part 91 flights.
- Mountain and IFR experience. Routine flying in Colorado’s high terrain, density altitude, and changing weather.
- Clear communication. You’ll know the plan, the risks, and the decision behind each go or no-go.
- Selective by design. We take on work we can do well, and we’ll tell you plainly when something isn’t a fit.
Front Range Based. Willing to Travel.
Summit Wings is based on Colorado’s Front Range and serves owners and operators throughout the Denver area and beyond, including Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC), Centennial Airport (KAPA), and Colorado Air and Space Port (KCFO). We regularly travel for work beyond the Front Range and beyond Colorado. Positioning, ferry legs, and multi-day trips can all be arranged.
